The School Day

Our school day begins at 8.45am with breakfast and a morning check-in. This gives children time to arrive, connect with the adults and other children around them, and prepare for the day ahead.

Throughout the day, children take part in a balance of academic, practical and vocational learning. There is time for movement, outdoor learning and support with emotional regulation where it is needed. The structure of the day is predictable, but our response to each student will always remain flexible.

The day finishes at 2.45pm with an afternoon check-out. This is an opportunity to reflect on the day, recognise progress and make sure each child leaves feeling seen, valued and ready for tomorrow.
